THE SIDEWALK SCHOOL AND HOLISTIC HEALTH CENTER ANNOUNCES

The Spiral Program:

A homeopathic skill-building program,

which integrates classical and innovative approaches.

In recent years, a fierce and exciting dialogue has blossomed within the homeopathic community considering what has been called classical and innovative homeopathy. In many ways, the debate hinges on the manner in which the practitioner determines the nature and qualities of the remedy and the steps taken to find the client /remedy match.  We are excited to present a homeopathic training program that integrates both classical and innovative concepts.

The Spiral Program builds on what students already understand about homeopathic philosophy, remedies, and the application of that knowledge in first aid and acute situations.  It will support students to build a strong, organized approach toward the recognition of remedies as they appear in the plant, mineral and animal kingdoms; and to strengthen skills for matching the remedy choice to the meaningful totality presented by the client.  Skills of repertorization, case-taking and case management will be enhanced, focusing students in an active and competency-based learning environment, built around teaching the fine art of homeopathic healing.

Students will have the opportunity for vigorous classroom exploration, as well as observation of live case-taking and professional analysis, working in small groups with a  CCH homeopath.

All credits are steps toward gathering the clinical and classroom hours needed for CCH credentialing.  Certificates of completion (80 classroom hours) are given after satisfactory completion of the entire program and payment of all tuition.  No certificates for partial completion will be awarded.  Certificates of completion for the clinic will be awarded upon completion of the days signed up for and payment of all tuition.  Each clinic day will count as 8 observational hours.  Requirements for CCH certification can be accumulated from a variety of learning experiences, please see the CCH website for full details (www.homeopathicdirectory.com)

THE SPIRAL PROGRAM offers:

·        Saturday morning observation of live and/or video clinic cases in our homeopathic clinic in Roxbury with follow-ups— three day-long experiences during the year—followed by Saturday afternoon analysis of cases, discussion of interviewing techniques, rationale for remedy selection and case management
