Thought Field Therapy is a technique based on Traditional Chinese
Medicine Acupuncture technique using "tapping" rather than needles on various body points on the face, shoulders
and hands to reduce and resolve strong emotional states such as anxiety, phobias, alcohol and other drug
cravings. In 1970, Roger Callahan, Ph.D. adapted this procedure to use with Western clients. Over the past three
decades, various versions of this technique have emerged: Emotional Freedom Technique, Tapping Technique.
